Strathglass. Two national nature reserves
- Glen Affric and Glen Strathfarrar - are on its doorstep. Ancient Caledonian pinewoods are to be found
in both, along with a wide range of wildlife. Look out for the red deer, red squirrels, otter, pine martins and much
more. |

The area is a peaceful place to relax and take in scenery, but for the more active there is the
option to participate in many outdoor sports, including: cycling, fishing, riding, golf and walking.

| Strathglass offers 13+ Munroes for those intrepid climbers prepared to go over 3000ft (visit www.munroemagic.co.uk to plan detailed routes).However, there are many less strenuous walks along lochs, rivers and forestry trails. You may like to take a ranger walk with the forestry commission. |
